Instinction is a piece that explores the process of connecting with the authentic self. The authentic self, is the self that exists beyond the ego, beyond the conscious and subconscious conditioning from our experiences. It is the self that embodies the gifts, purpose, and nature that exists within us from the moment we are born.
“How do we come closer together while honouring the things that make us different?”
Trying to find answers to this question, the artists realized that in order to truly connect with others we must first understand who we are as individuals. We must be able to look past the social influences of our past and present, past our unhealthy ambition, and have the courage to be open to explore our true identity.
Instinction is a duet that explores the journey of self-discovery, connectedness, and truth. The characters descend into the depths of their authentic selves, hoping that the knowledge they find will help them grow closer to each other.

LILOU is a dance film that explores the process of traversing specific emotional states, where negative emotions find us, and how we find solid ground.
Stilness, loneliness, fear, anxiety, joy, ambition, peace and love was the base for dancers in their movement language. How do we move when we feel? Where does the movement come from? How can we stay or get away from it? Can we seperate the body from the mind? These were the main questions LILOU was trying to answer.

ROCKET GIRL
“Our skin is a kind of space suit in which we maneuver through an atmosphere of harsh gases, cosmic rays, radiation from the sun, and obstacles of all sorts. Years ago, I read about a boy who had to live in a bubble (designed by NASA) because of the weakness of his immune system and his susceptibility to disease. We are all that boy. The bubble is our skin. But the skin in also alive, breathing and excreting, shielding us from harmful rays and microbial attack, repairing itself when necessary, acting as a frame for our sense of touch, aiding us in sexual attraction, defining our individuality, holding all the thick red jams and jellies inside us where they belong. Our skin is what stands between us and the world.“ A Natural History Of The Senses, Diane Ackerman. World priemiere at Elegant Universe // A Showcase on July 2019. Telaraña
Telaraña is an ironic reality; what you see is what you see. It is simple, but the awkwardness of realism gives concrete form to women’s domestic labor. Generally a waste of energy, female domestic labor emphasizes role repetition without need for a visible product. Things that we can not deal with, become digestible as fantasy. Awkward is good. Real is good.
